Hello! My name is Ella Colbus (she/her) and I am a stage manager and live event technician from Buffalo, NY. I currently reside in Winston Salem, NC as a 2025 Stage Management BFA candidate at UNCSA. I love visiting new places and will absolutely travel for work (and pleasure)! Although I mainly focus on concerts and music festivals, I have experience working in many types of live events including theatre, opera, dance, circus, conferences and graduations.
I have spent the last 2 years working as an AV technician with Rock the House AV for music festivals including Bonnaroo and Sueños. I have also spent the past six years working as the Production Assistant for Artpark's annual concert and event season. I am open to touring and freelance work largely focusing in the music industry. My skills include people and equipment management, audio and lighting install and operation, facilitating communication amongst teams, and even tying bow ties. I would love to add my skills to your team and ensure the success of your projects!
Outside of work, I enjoy good food, exploring new places, listening to music, making collages, camping, hiking, sitting on my porch, and visiting my friends on their tours.
